Coral Ecosystems
Coral reefs are interlocking, diverse, and resilient systems that disperse wave energy while providing conditions that support growth. Within these underwater ecosystems, there is a layering of community and culture that showcases the artistry of iterative process. Coral asks me to consider how I can create environments where we can collectively contribute our skills towards building sustainable, resilient, and strong communities. As this ecosystem is on the brink of extinction, I ask myself, what more do I have to learn from the living systems and cultures around me about care?
